Our work

Receipts, not a highlight reel

A plain record of what clients hired us for, what we did, and what came of it. Some of these ran for years. One ended in an acquisition. We have left out the ones we cannot talk about.

HubSpot

  • Web

The situation

A marketing organization with more campaign ideas than internal capacity to build them, across five separate engagements and four different champions.

What we did

Creative and web support to run campaign projects end to end, including research programs on NFTs, Web3, and customer experience that became HubSpot's own published material.

What came of it

Five engagements over four years. HubSpot has been both a client and a conference sponsor, which is the clearest signal we know how to give about repeat trust.

They really listened to our goals, understood the nuance we needed, and executed an approach that stayed true to our brand and beliefs.

  • Strategy

The situation

A social team that needed to stay ahead of platform change without building an in-house research function to do it.

What we did

Quarterly State of Social trend briefings built for their team specifically. What changed, what it meant for Credit Karma, and what to do about it next quarter.

What came of it

Six years of continuous work, our longest client relationship. Their social engagement grew every year we worked together.

Social Fresh helped show us how great creative is an opportunity to be on the leading edge. They produced incredible results and got us going in directions that we would not have otherwise.

71%

Lower cost per new customer

The situation

A fintech startup that had to win customers against competitors with far larger budgets, where every dollar of acquisition cost decided the runway.

What we did

We took over paid acquisition. Account rebuild, audience testing, and a creative cadence tuned to bring cost per new customer down fast.

What came of it

We cut their cost to acquire a customer by 71 percent. Novo acquired Ruby Money in June 2024.

Gate City Bank

Finance

  • Audit
  • Strategy

The situation

A regional bank with a hundred good ideas and no agreed focus, and no outside read on which of them mattered.

What we did

An audit and strategy engagement that narrowed a sprawling wish list down to a small set of goals the team could actually execute against.

What came of it

A redefined strategy and a team that felt empowered to experiment rather than guess.

Jason and Nicole helped us narrow down our key goals. That is important because sometimes you can have 100 ideas but no clear focus. What Social Fresh delivered was above and beyond what we expected.

$900K

Revenue in three months

The situation

A materials company with a genuinely differentiated product and no repeatable way to put it in front of the buyers who needed it.

What we did

Paid media and strategy built around the specific buying moment, rather than broad awareness spend.

What came of it

The program drove $900,000 in revenue over three months.
